Dumas has a new book out, apparently.

A dedicated Dumas scholar, researching why the writer was taken to task for besmirching the reputation of the Empress Josephine, since she never appeared in any of his books, was looking through the newspapers of the time for more references and discovered the serialization of Dumas's final novel, The Last Chevalier, printed in them.

This is exactly how this sort of thing should always happen.

The picture links to the full story, but beware of spoilers, including some that put me off Dumas for a long time when some dumb Harvard jerk spilled them casually in the first page of his introduction. This is exciting enough, however, that I'll have to pick it back up and catch up.
Included in The Last Chevalier is, apparently, the naval battle of Trafalgar and the death of Lord Nelson, which I'm just now realizing was a real thing. Thursday Next can be very misleading in some cases. So now I'm also reading up on him. Apparently, he suffered from seasickness.
